Review Sessions
Of the Teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
His Holiness’s teachings are not organised or hosted by Tushita.
For any information about the schedule, registration, and if an event will be also available on webcast, please visit our listings of his events, below, or directly His Holiness’s website.
- On foot, Tushita is ~30 minutes up the hill from His Holiness’s Temple or ~15 minutes from McLeod Ganj.
- Tushita avoids scheduling conflicting sessions, and usually also offers Review Sessions later in the day.
This is dependent on whether the management of His Holiness’ Temple make arrangements for their own review sessions or not. This is never certain until the day of the event (His Holiness’s English translator makes an announcement if review sessions will be held at the Temple after the teachings), but it is more likely that they will not, and then Tushita’s Review Sessions will go ahead as planned.

Walking Route from His Holiness’s Temple to Tushita
Tushita’s Review Sessions are led by experienced teachers or long-term students. They provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and explore some potentially difficult topics that His Holiness taught on that day, and may be particularly helpful for newcomers to Tibetan Buddhist philosophy who hope to enhance their understanding His Holiness’s teachings.
- Everybody is welcome to attend reviews (unless prerequisites are announced at a particular teaching)
- No advance registration is needed
NOTE: On the day of His Holiness’s teachings, Tushita’s Office & Library will only open an hour or so after the teachings have ended (as we attend them too!)
Generosity is Appreciated
All Drop-In Sessions are offered on the basis of Dana (donation). There will be a donation box at the back of the hall and we welcome any contribution you’d like to make.

Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha.
