Review Sessions
Tushita does NOT organise or host His Holiness the Dalai Lama (HHDL)'s Teachings in McLeod Ganj (we wish!), so see HHDL's own website for futher information about those, but when he does teach at His Temple (about 15 minutes down the hill from here, see photo below), we often hold a Review Session of His Holiness' Teachings after HHDL has finished for the day.
Tushita's Review Sessions are led by experienced teachers or long-term students. They provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and explore some potentially difficult topics that His Holiness taught on that day, and are particularly helpful for newcomers to Buddhism to understand His Holiness' Teachings more fully.
Everybody is welcome to attend the review sessions - No advance registration is needed. Donations are very welcome!
THE NEXT REVIEW SESSION
Intended as a supplement to His Holiness' Teaching on the morning of March 8th 2012
March 8th is "The Day of Miracles" - Traditionally in the morning of this day His Holiness the Dalai Lama gives a public teaching on the Jataka Tales (stories about the previous lives of the Buddha as a Bodhisattva), but he often uses the opportunity to give a general talk on Buddhist Teachings.
So as part of our Day of Miracles events, this review session will also be a general talk,
by Glen Svensson, entitled:
"WHAT THE BUDDHA TAUGHT"
Thursday March 8th from 4 – 5:30pm
PLEASE NOTE: ON HHDL’s TEACHING DAYS THE OFFICE & LIBRARY WILL ONLY OPEN AN HOUR OR SO AFTER THE TEACHINGS HAVE ENDED (we attend them too!)

When His Holiness holds public teachings in McLeod Ganj, the venue is His Main Temple (at Namgyal Monastery, bottom of Temple Road), which is located next to His residence, pictured above. Tushita is about 15 minutes up the hill from McLeod Ganj. You can see directions here.
