McLEOD GANJ > ACCOMMODATION
 There are a huge number of clean and safe budget guesthouses, mid-range
hotels and luxury hotels in McLeod Ganj and the surrounding villages of
Dharamkot and Bhagsu. The same is true of restaurants.
We do not have
any specific guesthouses, hotels or restaurants to recommend, so please
check your travel guidebook for ideas. Almost everyone staying in the
less expensive guesthouses arranges accommodation on arrival. Please
note that most hotels/guesthouses do not accept advance reservation
(unless they are in a higher price bracket).
If you would like to be close to Tushita we recommend that you stay in
Dharamkot, a small village 5 min. from Tushita (from where it's a 15
min walk downhill to McLeod Ganj). If you would like to stay in McLeod
Ganj it's a steep 20min walk uphill (or 50 rupee rickshaw ride) to
reach Tushita.
