How many people take part in your courses?

In 2009, the average number of students on our Introduction to Buddhism courses was 46, and in 2010 it went up to 55 and in 2011, this number rose again to somewhere in between 65-70, we'll know more when we compile the figures at the end of the year.

However, numbers depend greatly on the weather, the season, the International political and economic climate, whether or not His Holiness the Dalai Lama is teaching just before or after the course... so many factors!

Our Intermediate Level courses and Tantric Retreats are much smaller since students on them are required to have some prior experience within Buddhist Philosophy. On these courses & retreats, we usually have around 15 - 20 students.

Our peak season is March – early June and we can have up to 80 students on Introduction course during that time, so it’s advisable to register early to ensure a place!
