Where can
I study Tibetan in the area?

The Library of Tibetan Work and Archives offers language classes in
Tibetan for beginners and advanced students, each 1 hour long. For more
information please visit: www.ltwa.net or the LTWA section of
www.tibet.com or call 222467.

Many Tibetans offer private lessons in Tibetan language. Look for
advertisements in the free “Contact” magazine
(www.contactmag.org) or for posters around town.

If you are considering studying Tibetan seriously and making a long
term commitment, FPMT offers the Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo Translator
Programme (in McLeod Ganj, for more information: www.fpmt.org or email), which involves a 4-year commitment (2 years intensive
studies in McLeod Ganj and 2 years translating for a Geshe in one of
the FPMT centres around the world).

Thoesamling Institute (a Western nunnery near Sidhpur) also offers a
2-year Tibetan language course (www.thosamling.net).
Where can I study yoga, reiki, tai chi, thangka painting, massage,
astrology, cooking etc. in the area?
There are many places in the area offering instruction in all of the
